February has come and gone at a hurtling speed! The pace set in January, has not slowed down, in fact we have signs of increasing Speed! The Elmleigh team has been working hard, securing large projects, utilising the latest technology to support our clients and networking with industry leading companies to see how we can improve our services to deliver better projects.
Let’s not overlook the monumental project delivered by our Mechanical team, who didn’t just complete a full PDI, but went a step further and commissioned a client’s system entirely in-house at our own facility.
These past few months have highlighted the strength and resilience of the team at Elmleigh. They’ve risen to every challenge, built new relationships with clients, and explored innovative ways we can evolve as a company to better support our customers.
Team Growth: Reintroducing Mattew Tivey
Team growth at Elmleigh has not slowed down coming into February, we are excited to reintroduce Matthew Tivey back into the Elmleigh Fold as our latest Project Manager.
Matt is no stranger to the work we do here at Elmleigh, as he once supported our team, moving to other companies, leaning new skills and bringing that knowledge to support electrical installations of large proportions.

Mechanical Project Update: Accelerated Progress
As mentioned within our last article, Elmleigh mechanical team was working hard at manufacturing a full automated system for a valued Food & Beverage client. The team has been capturing each moment to share the journey for this milestone project.

Last Wednesday the team can confidently announce that they undertook the PDI test and commissioned the system in house at Elmleigh. The system is a testimony of an what a full turnkey company can provide. Each design element of the mechanical structure. Fabricated to support control panels and cabling, ensuring a smooth installation in our client’s live production site. Reducing the intrusion into their factory.
The result is a testament to the hard work the team has put into the project, and the collaboration within Elmleigh.
Metrology and 3D Printing: Advancements in Abilities
The mechanical team is also supporting a massive installation for a client within the logistics sector!

Supporting with the installation of conveyor systems, Elmleigh mobilised with the latest floor printing technology, taking the clients 3D scan and rendition of their system, outlining the location of the system, making installation faster massively reducing errors

Automate UK: Visiting Triumph Motorcycles
From Steve McQueen to Daniel Craig, Triumph Motorcycles Limited have a rich history within the UK. As the largest UK owned Motorcycle manufacturer, the company was at the forefront of automation innovation after being establish by John Bloor. Making it perfect to host the latest Automate UK tour.

The tour highlighted how automation is being adopted within automotive manufacturing, easing the operator’s role, ensuring each piece of the bike conforms to the highest standards, whilst ensuring each bike still has that human touch. Each bike that receives a custom pinstripe paint job is done freehand and signed by the painter, a stamp of authenticity of work and pride in what they produce.
Intralox Inside: Predictive Maintenance to Sausage Rolls
Martin Lewis-Stevenson and Joshua Dare represented Elmleigh last week at their Intralox inside event. The day highlighted technologies that Intralox have to service multiple industries, from food manufacturing to waste water treatment. The day also offered an in depth panel discussion from Martin Miller and Laurie-ann Sutherland discussing predictive maintenance within food manufacturing. It was a great day to have the team representing Elmleigh, networking with other like-minded individuals to understand how we can support the sector with what it really needs.
