Tosin Daramola from Redmoor Academy in Hinkley has been with us at Elmleigh House this past week for ‘work experience’ as part of his study programme and had opportunity to see what we do in various areas of our business.
We hope to have provided him with a varied week demonstrating the processes and procedures of a busy and progressive automation and electrical installations company, perhaps sparking some interest in a future career choice. As part of our commitment, we sat down together at the end of the week to review and ask some questions about the experience at Elmleigh as well as some fun questions at the end;

How have you enjoyed your time at Elmleigh?
Yeah…I loved it
What did a typical day for you look like?
Relaxed but hard-working people, devoted to their work
What do you consider the most interesting activity at Elmleigh?
The Control Panel assembly workshop where everything is put together.
What is your favourite thing about the week?
Visiting different staff and analysing their individual tasks.
What have you learnt about yourself during the week?
When meeting new people it takes a while for me to feel confident.
How would you balance a career in industry with your family/personal time?
I’d keep my work life separate from my family to some extent.
How has Elmleigh helped you in your career aspirations?
The Elmleigh staff that I met with directed me and helped me to choose the right pathway for myself.
