Elmleigh was approached by a global snack food manufacturer requiring a bespoke automated hygienic system installation to ensure food hygiene standards were easily maintainable once the plant became operational. The project required our working on a fully operational food production site during the COVID-19 pandemic, a challenge Elmleigh has faced many times in the recent past. Not only did the electrical installation require the team to adhere to strict COVID controls and CDM requirements, we often found ourselves operating in confined work areas with multiple trades needed to deliver a safe and successful outcome.
