The Challenge
Our client, a large warehouse automation specialist, requested the services of Elmleigh at short notice in order to urgently complete installation of an automated distribution system that would increase the capacity for the distribution of pharmaceutical products during the early phase of the Coronavirus pandemic. A sense of crisis made our contribution to completion of this task a top priority to ensure supply of essential medecines was maintained during these unprecedented times.
The Solution
Due to the importance and the necessity of successfully completing this job, we formed and deployed a Critical Work Team to provide the essential electrical installation services needed by the client. Being SafeContractor certified, and with safety always foremost at Elmleigh, our team was fully equipped with the necessary additional PPE and received training on observing the new COVID-19 control working methods published in the very latest CLC Site Operating Procedures received through our invaluable ECA registration. Rigorously following these guidelines, we ensured safe working procedures and safe travel arrangements were carefully and meticulously maintained.
The Outcome
Thanks to the Critical Work Team, Elmleigh were able to help fast-track completion of this automated conveyor system. We offer our thanks and appreciation to all those in the team for working so effectively together and for providing such an essential service. We also thank our valued suppliers and contractors for providing their resources and supporting the country in such an important way during this difficult time.
